Pavel Kysilka

Pavel Kysilka has been Chief Executive Officer of Česká spořitelna within Erste Group Bank AG since 2011 and he serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Česká spořitelna. He played a key role in the integration of Erste Bank and Česká spořitelna. Before joining Erste Group in 1999, he held various positions in the financial sector, including that of Governor of the Czech National Bank. In 1992/93 he managed the splitting of the Czechoslovak currency and the implementation of Czech crown. From 1994 to 1997 he was an expert of International Monetary Fund and he participated in implementation of national currencies in several Eastern European countries. He is the author of several studies focused on corporate sector, structural reforms and economic transformation.
