The responsibility was to set up and be in charge of Stevens Institute field laboratory in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Working plan of the laboratory was to isolate different
chemicals from insects, marine and plants for possible application in pharmaceutical research. This mission also comprised lecturing of students from different US universities
during their summer courses in Punta Cana, the demonstrations and instructions for Dominican scientists and students in Santo Domingo. In 2006 established and launched another
laboratory of chemical ecology at the Autonomy University of Santo Domingo. |
