Four Studies of Narrative
Thursday, 12 May 2011 09:21

The four studies which make up this short book represent four particular attempts to enter the most recent issues in Czech narratology.

Such as realist narration, fictional reference and representation (Bohumil Fořt), descriptivity and narrativity (Alice Jedličková), fictional worlds theory (Jiří Koten), and the role of stories in the sciences and humanities (Ondřej Sládek). While each of the studies represents a certain unit as such, in connection with the other three studies the plurality of the role of narration and narrativity in our world can be argued to be present.
