Alexander Klein earned his Ph.D. in Economics (2005) from CERGE-EI. In 2005-2006, he was a Marie Curie pre-doctoral research fellow at the University of Warwick, and in 2006-2007, he was a Marie Curie post-doctoral research fellow at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Since 2008, he has been a research fellow at the Department of Economics, University of Warwick. Since 2010, he has been a research fellow at the Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy.
Research orientation:
Economic History, Economic Geography, and Urban Economics.
