We offer talented students of secondary schools outside of Prague the singular opportunity to engage in real scientific activities or in peak research projects of scientific workplaces. Through two-year internships, the students have the opportunity to take part in scientific work directly at the institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the CR and specialised workplaces of higher education institutes, where the internships take place. Under the guidance of experienced scientists, talented students can discover scientific work in its everyday practice. They can hence try out work in the laboratory, various experiments but also for instance field surveys.

 

In 2010, we supported the interest of 185 students in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, informatics, geology and geography. We encourage bilateral cooperation of the secondary schools and the scientific-research institutions in the area of further education and work with talented youth.
