Received her B.Sc. in Economics (2001) from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece, M.Sc. in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics (2002) and Ph.D. in Economics (2008) from the London School of Economics, United Kingdom. Her Ph.D. dissertation is titled “Multi-Sector Growth: The Role of Information and Communication Technologies and Other Intermediates in Recent Growth Experiences”. She was awarded the Ely Devons Prize for best aggregate grade in M.Sc. E&ME (2002). In 2006 she worked as a Summer Intern for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, during 2002-2007 she was an Occasional Research Assistant for the Technology of the Centre for Economic Performance, and during 2005-2007 she was working as a Tutorial Fellow at the LSE. Since 2007 she has been a Researcher at the Economics Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and an Assistant Professor at CERGE, Charles University, Prague.
