For two years now, the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA) has organized the project Contemporary and Modern Art Perspectives (C-MAP) in a Global Age: A Program for Research at the Museum of Modern Art. It aims at disseminating knowledge and discussion of modern and contemporary art beyond the regions that are most heavily represented in the MoMA collections (i. e., Western Europe, North America, and Latin America). On 22–23 February 2011 the third seminar of the project was held in MoMA, with the title Multiple Modernities through the Lens of International Cubism. Between invited guests to give papers as the basis for discussion was also Vojtěch Lahoda of the Institute of Art History of the ASCR.
