ASL Portal for Electronic Journals

  • Entry: http://msfx.lib.cas.cz/sfxlcl3/az/KNAV?lang=eng
  • Access to available electronic journals at ASL (about 30,000 titles). The portal allows users to search for titles of magazines available online in databases under subscription and in some selected, freely available digital archives. The basic instructions are available here.
  • Remote access is enabled.

Information gateway – MetaLib search-portal

  • Entry: http://metalib.lib.cas.cz/
  • The MetaLib portal allows to search, with a retrieval query, the records of documents (particularly articles) in multiple electronic information sources concurrently. There are pre-set groups of sources, such as “Full-Text Databases” or “Citation and Abstract Databases”. The basic instructions are available here.
  • Remote access is enabled.

Google Scholar

  • Vstup: http://scholar.google.com
  • Google ScholarSFX is a special version of the SFS link server, which is used to connect the search results from Google Scholar with full texts in the data bases made accessible by a given library. Google Scholar displays the document in the abstract, together with links to user-preferred link servers – Scholar Preferences setting.
  • For users within the ASCR, a reference to the link server SFX@LibASCR appears automatically. To obtain a full text of the document, click on SFX@LibASCR by the abstract of a specific document in the search result. Guidance with an example.
  • Freely accessible (without having to register with ASL), although the SFX link resolver (prolink to full texts) requires to log in.

Infozdroje

  • Entry: http://www.infozdroje.cz (pouze v češtině)
  • Infozdroje.cz system is operated by Albertina icome Prague Inc. The intent is to streamline the access to sources of information within the individual institutions.
  • Once the Infozdroje.cz pages come up, the user IP address is identified and an appropriate offer of available sources of information appears automatically.
