Conference on Rational Inattention and Related TheoriesAn international academic conference “Rational Inattention and Related Theories” will be held at CERGE-EI on June 3-5. The subject of the conference – rational inattention – deals with a branch of economics that builds on modeling humans’ limited ability to process information. The theory has been developing rapidly in recent years and it relates to many important economic aspects that we encounter in a day-to-day behavior, such as price dynamics or investment choices. Participation in this conference is by invitation only. Professor Christopher Sims, who received the 2011 Nobel Prize in Economics, will present a public lecture on Tuesday, June 5 at 5pm at CERGE-EI in Prague.
