Jakub Kastl is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Stanford University from 2007 and a Faculty Research Fellow at the NBER from 2009. He was a Research Associate at CERGE-EI from July 2011 till January 2012. He completed his Ph.D. in Economics at Northwestern University in 2006. He has published in top academic journals such as Econometrica and Review of Economic Studies. He serves as an Associate Editor of International Journal of Industrial Organization.
