JUDr. Jana Kratěnová

Jana Kratěnová is National Contact Point (NCP) for legal and financial issues of 7th Framework Programme. As NCP she focuses on spreading information (publications and presentations) primarily on IPR issues within 7th Framework Programme. She is active in the area of IPR management at universities and public research institutions. She is currently Czech delegate in Working Group on Knowledge Transfer (part of ERAC - European Research Area Committee, former CREST).

Part of the 2010 she worked in Czech liasion office for research and development (CZELO) in Brussels. She also gained practical experience while working in advocacy and pursued internships at Prague’s District Courts.

Jana graduated from Charles University, Law Faculty (Master of Laws), where she also obtained Doctor degree (JUDr.) in 2011. She studied for a year at University Turku, Law Faculty, Finland, where she focused on European IPR and Commercial Law.
