Alexander Klein earned his Ph.D. in Economics (2005) from CERGE, Charles University. In 2005-2006, he was a Marie Curie Pre-doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Warwick, and in 2006-2007, he was a Marie Curie Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Since 2008, Research Fellow at the Department of Economics, University of Warwick, Coventry. Since 2010, Research Fellow at the Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy, University of Warwick, Coventry. He is a Visiting Post-doctoral Fellow at the Economics Institute of the Academy of Sciences.
Research orientation:
Economic history, economic geography and urban economics.
