Design, production, delivery and installation of the low voltage power system (LVPS) for the
TILECAL hadronic calorimeter of the
ATLAS experiment. In 2003 FZU was charged with responsibility for the LVPS project.
CERN and
Argonne collaborated on the project, most of the parts were designed and put to production by Czech engineers and most of the production was realized in the Czech Republic. The cost of LVS was 2 mil. Swiss Francs. The system was successfully tested and installed before
LHC start in 2008.
