Research interest
I am engaged in the electrochemical research since 1963. Research field include also the electrochemical instrumentation for various relaxation techniques and a computer controlled data acquisition system. Besides the electrochemical research I was engaged as a consultant of the development of electrochemical instrumentation. After the political changes in Czechoslovakia I was appointed the head of a research team, a member and chairman of the scientific board of the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry. My electrochemical research concerns mainly the kinetics of electrode reactions, adsorption phenomena, nucleation-growth effects, electron transfer reactions of host-guest complexes and oscillating reactions. I joint the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry in 2007 for a part-time contract.
