Abstract:
The effect of an oostatic pentapeptide, H-Tyr-Asp-Pro-Ala-Pro-OH, on reproduction of the bug Pyrrhocoris apterus was studied. The peptide decreased the number of laid eggs in the first ovarian cycle.
