1989 – present Analysis of nuclear DNA content using flow cytometry; application of DNA flow cytometry in the analysis of genetic instability in vitro, systematics and taxonomy, including the analysis of intraspecific variation in genome size
1992 – present Chromosome analysis and sorting using flow cytometry; the use of flow-sorted chromosomes for physical mapping of DNA sequences, construction of chromosome-specific DNA libraries and isolation of molecular markers
1997 – present Analysis of plant genome organization using in situ hybridization and PCR in situ; isolation and characterization of repetitive DNA sequences
