The project „Human Resources for Neurosciences in the Hradec Kralove and Usti Regions“ is financed by the European Social Fund through the Education for Competitiveness Operational Programme administered by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. Duration: 1 November 2012 – 30 April 2015
The project is focused on building and professional development of new research teams focused on the modern field of neuroscience and its application in clinical medicine. Neuroscience research is a key discipline studied at the Institute of Experimental Medicine AS CR. The Institute employes leading scientists in the field of neurophysiology and neurooncology and carries out, inter alia, research on the therapeutic use of stem cells for serious neurological disease. Interconnection of capacities of the applicant and partners will research in the regions with high prospects for development of science. In the regions of impact, there are located major hospitals that use the research results in the treatment of serious neurological and oncological diseases.
