Vojtěch Lanna (1805–1866)

We present in this issue an article about the re-nowned Bohemian industrialist, businessman and boatswain, Adalbert Lanna, who influenced the development of industry, building and transport in this part of the Habsburg monarchy in the 19th century. Together with his partners he founded the Vojtěch (or Prague) Ironworks in Kladno. He also built Buštěhrad Railways, which become a part of the network of lines of the Czechoslovak State Railways in 1923.
