European Network of Neuroscience Institutes

eninet.jpg Research significantly depends on the creative activities of young researchers. In response to this important aspect, 12 leading  European  neuroscience institutes formed the thematic network of ENINET (European Network of Neuroscience Institutes) dedicated to supporting the independent work of young  scientists. The IEM ASCR is  one of the founding members of this network. Prof. Erwin Neher from the European Neuroscience Institute in Göttingen is its founder. Network activity includes regular meetings, workshops, internships for students and the exchange of know-how. The aim of the network is to create conditions  for young scientists enabling the development of their independent research. Members of the network provide laboratory space, infrastructure, educational supplies and other forms of support to allow young scientists to establish and develop small research teams and perform their separate activity. In addition to departments, led by experienced internationally recognized scientists, the IEM ASCR has created laboratories under the leadership of young scientists in medically-oriented research areas.
