Technology Incubator
The TC ASCR has, together with ČKD Nové Energo, a.s., and Energieteam Consult GmbH, successfully realised the reconstruction of an old factory hall in Prague 9 to a business incubator and an innovation centre. It represents the first joint utilisation of a brownfield by partners from the business and academic sectors. The incubator’s opening ceremony took place in 2008. Resident firms are offered not only office and laboratory-space rental but also a comprehensive package of consulting and administrative services. The fact that the incubator is almost 100 percent-occupied is an evidence of the high interest firms have in using it.
The TC ASCR provides firms with a number of complex services:
- Technology transfer services
- Participation in research and development projects
- Facilitation of participation in technology exchanges
- Consulting in the area of intellectual property protection
- Training and informational events oriented at project financing and innovation management
- Events aimed at acquiring contacts and entering foreign markets
