Ing. Josef Montag, Ph.D.

Josef Montag graduated from Doctoral School of Law at the University of Turin in 2011 where he received his PhD degree in Comparative Analysis of Institutions, Economics, and Law. Since 2011 he works as an analyst in the private sector and since 2012 he is a Postdoctoral Researcher at CERGE, Charles University. His undergraduate and master’s degrees are from the University of Economics, Prague. He was also a visiting scholar Cornell University and a visiting student at the Institute for Law and Economics at Hamburg University. He was a Junior Researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (2004/2005) and a teaching assistant at Department of Economics at the University of Economics, Prague (2005/2006 and 2007).
