Based in Prague, Czech Republic, the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education-Economics Institute (CERGE-EI), offers graduate programs in modern Economics to students from around the world with a special focus on transition and emerging economies. Our programs include a PhD in Economics, an MA degree, and a one-year Masters Degree in Applied Economics.

Students may also work on a Joint Masters of Economics with the Institute for Economic Studies at Charles University in Prague. In addition, CERGE-EI offers a study abroad program for US and other undergraduates interested in the rigorous study of Central European history, politics, art and culture. CERGE-EI operates entirely in English.
