Department of optical sensors focuses on research and development
of optical sensors, particularly sensors based on surface
plasmon resonance (SPR) for detection of chemical and
biological species and interactions of biomolecules, fiber optics
sensors with evanescent wave or long period gratings (LPG)
for detection of chemical analytes.
