Projects and grants

The Centre of Administration and Operations of the ASCR, v.v.i. has established a Department of Projects and Grants within the Division of External Relations for the purposes of acquisition and administration of subsidy titles.
The working activities of the Department of Projects and Grants include that it:
 
  • coordinates the preparation of and participates in the selection of project plans for further elaboration, particularly with a view to the effective utilisation of financial means,
  • prepares and implements project plans for the aim of the use of EU means,
  • the project team of the DPG complexly implements the acquired subsidy titles (national, international and internal), including administration, accounting and publicity,
  • cooperation with bodies of the EU and materially relevant ministries and institutions in utilising the means of EU funds,
  • collects, evaluates and analyses information on the possibilities of using the means of EU funds, from other financial or foundational mechanisms with a view to their use with the CAO, ASCR, or in the individual institutes of the ASCR,
  • provide counselling and consultative activity in the area of the preparation and implementation of project plans,
  • mediates contacts in the preparation of project plans,
  • provides methodological assistance in the preparation and implementation of projects, supervises the observance of the conditions of the relevant programme, particularly the achievement of the required outcomes of the projects (binding monitoring indicators) and their tenability,
  • ensures communication with the steering bodies if the programmes co-financed from EU funds,
  • coordinates cooperation of the departments of the CAO, or institutes of the ASCR in the preparation and implementation of subsidies,
  • ensures the elaboration of the monitoring reports, including the final reports and submission of applications for reimbursement,
  • in cooperation with other departments ensures the publicity and promotion of the implemented projects.
