The 4th VLTAVA Chemistry Meeting will be organised by the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the ASCR, Prague, Czech Republic on 9th-10th September 2013 and the accommodation will be offered at Villa Lanna.

The VLTAVA Meeting series was launched following a call from the Embassy of France in the Czech Republic in 2010 and the Meetings have been organised on a yearly basis since then, in Dijon (2010), Pardubice (2011) and Dijon (2012).

The aim of the VLTAVA Meeting is to gather scientists from France and the Czech Republic who have similar scientific interests, to give them an opportunity to present and discuss their recent results, to share their experience with other well-respected scientists, and to find new collaborators in the other country. The Meeting will bring together researchers working on different aspects of inorganic, organic, coordination and material chemistry covering synthesis and properties of ligands, catalysis, theoretical calculations and biochemical applications. The programme will include plenary lectures (40 min), oral presentations (20 min) and poster presentations.
