2010 Young Economist of the Year Award

Filip Matějka and Ján Palguta awarded by the Czech Economic Society.
Filip Matějka (postdoc fellow at CERGE-EI, PhD Princeton 2010) received the first prize in the Young Economist of the Year, an annual competition held by the Czech Economic Society. In addition, Ján Palguta, a 2nd year student at CERGE-EI, was awarded Honorable Mention of the Czech Economic Society's award for economists younger than 25 years of age. CERGE-EI congratulates the winners and wish them continued success in the future.
