brain.jpg“Science has always been a great and beautiful adventure, hard work and the art of experimentation, including a versatile creativity, an art not only of communicating the results in academic lectures to colleagues, students and other interested individuals, but also of actively participating in their application into medical practice. A constant flow of new thoughts, ideas, doubts and critical evaluation of results is the daily reality of a scientist. In medical research, the situation is enhanced by our desire to reduce the suffering of patients and to improve their quality of life, and also by the need to deal with the ethical issures that are tied to our research.”
