Biographies of figures in Czech literature
Through archive research and other excerption the CLO Database collates biographical data and information on the professional orientation of prominent figures in Czech literature from the origins of Czech literature to the present. It was created on the basis of the archive collection, which was first digitized in 2004-2008 under Ministry of Education Grant Project No. 1N04172. As of 31st December 2010, approx 16,000 of the total approx 32,000 entrieswere published online, while other information is progressively being verified and put up on the web in compliance with the relevant legal regulations. The biographical archive is supported by Ministry of Education Grant Project No. VZ09004 nowadays.
