The main laboratory aim regarding the
Nanosurf is a comprehensive research of atomic and electron structure of surfaces and nanostructures through experimental (STM/AFM, photoelectron spectroscopy, SPA-LEED) and theoretical methods (namely the computer simulation). The laboratory is concentrating not only on deeper understanding of physical processes leading to formation of nanostructures on the surface of solid substances but also on research and modification of their mechanical and electronic properties. These findings play an important role for design and optimization of new devices determined for nano-electronic.
