The research activity is focused (i) on studies of the metabolism of phenolic compounds in plants and tissue cultures and their role in growth processes and in plant response to various stresses, (ii) on studies of metabolism polyamines in plants and plant tissue cultures. Author of more than 45 papers dealing with metabolism of phenolics and polyamines.
