Remote Access
Remote access to electronic sources of information is permitted only to registered user of the Academy of Sciences Library who hold a valid reader’s pass (more here). Registration for remote access to electronic sources of information may be performed without visiting the Academy of Sciences Library in person (more here). The use of these source is subject to the conditions defined in the pertinent licence contracts.

Electronic Books
- The Academy of Sciences Library has made more than 160,000 electronic books accessible. All these titles are accessible online from computers on the premises of the Academy of Sciences Library and off the library premises (i.e. remote access is permitted). Registration for remote access to electronic sources of information may be performed without visiting the Academy of Sciences Library in person (more here).
- The library of electronic books consists of about 80,000 electronic books from the ebrary Academic Complete, more than 80,000 electronic books from the EBSCOeBooks Academic Collection and 71 electronic books from the Wiley Online Library (a list of e-books in Wiley Online Library in the xls format available to the public may be seen here). Předplacené kolekce EBSCOeBooks Academic Collection a ebrary Academic Complete obsahují odborné elektronické knihy ze všech vědních oborů z produkce více než 300 nejvýznamnějších světových vydavatelů odborné a vědecké literatury (Elsevier, Oxford University Press, Sage, Springer, Wiley, Brill a další).
- E-books from the publishing house ACADEMIA – more than 100 titles produced by the publishing house ACADEMIA are available in the study of the Academy of Sciences Library.
