Awards of the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic for Promotion and Popularization of R & D & I
The Award of the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic for both promotion and popularization of research, experimental development and innovation is presented to a research worker of the ASCR for the life’s work in the field of scientific research accomplishment, experimental development and innovation and for outstanding performance of their promotion and popularization.
Nominations for the Award of the President of the ASCR can be submitted by Academy workplaces’ directors after being approved by the councils in question, by the Scientific Council of the ASCR, and by the Academy of Science Council for Science Popularization. Nominations are submitted by May 30 of the calendar year.
The award is presented by the President of the ASCR on the recommendations of the Academic Council once a year at the occasion of the World Day of the Information Development effective since January 1, 2012.
