Awards of the ASCR for young scientists for outstanding scientific achievements were presented to:
- Ing. Tomáš Kroupa, Ph.D., born in 1978, from the Institute of Information Theory and Automation of the ASCR, v. v. i., for the outstanding scientific outcome: „Every State on Semisimple MV-algebra is Integral. Fuzzy Sets and Systems“, accompanied by the premium of 100 000 CZK;
- Ing. Václav Mahelka, Ph.D., born in 1977, from the Institute of Botany of the ASCR, v. v. i., for the outstanding scientific outcome: „Genomes of the polyploid grasses: on the trail of cryptic progenitors“, accompanied by the premium of 100 000 CZK;
- PhDr. Martin Holý, Ph.D., born in1978, from the Institute of History of the ASCR, v. v. i., for the outstanding scientific outcome:“In the Service of Nobility. Tutors of Noblemen from the Bohemian Lands (1500-1620)”, accompanied by the premium of 100 000 CZK.
