The President of the Academy of Sciences of the CR granted J. E. Purkyně Fellowship in the year 2007 to:

• Igor V. Bartish, PhD, nominated by the Institute of Botany of the ASCR, v. v. i., for the research focused on the development of population genetics and the guidance of a team working on quantitative population genetic analysis in the department of genetic ecology, from March 1, 2009 to February 28, 2014.
• Filip Lankaš, PhD, nominated by the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the ASCR, v. v. i., for the research focused on the extension of theoretical research of DNA and RNA structures from atomic level to supra-atomic level up to mezoscopic level, from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2012.
• Tomáš Vomastek, PhD, nominated by the Institute of Microbiology of the ASCR, v. v. i., for the research focused especially on the study of the role of the ERK pathway and ERK pathway scaffold RACK1 in regulation of cell motility and proliferation, from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2012.
• Jindřich Zapletal, PhD, DSc., nominated by the Institute of Mathematics of the ASCR, v. v. i., for the research focused on establishing a team researching Boolean algebra and team researching modern set theory, from January 1, to December 31, 2013.
