JUDr. Jana Kratěnová

Jana Kratěnová 's main areas of specialization are intellectual property and contracts  in Reseach&Development cooperation.  She is active in providing legal consultancy, giving presentations in the Czech Republic and abroad (e.g. China, Moldova, Slovakia, Belgium) and publishing within her areas of specialization. Jana has experience as National Contact Point for legal and financial issues of EU Programmes for Research, Development and Innovation (FP7, Horizon 2020) as well as Czech representative in European Research Area Council Working Group on Knowedge Transfer - currently acting as Vice-Chair of this group. 

In the past she worked in Czech liasion office for research and development (CZELO) in Brussels. Jana pursued internships at Prague’s District Courts and also gained practical experience while working in advocacy. Jana passed Czech Bar Exams succesfuly.

Jana graduated from Charles University, Law Faculty (Master of Laws, with Honors), where she also obtained Doctor degree (JUDr.). She studied for a year at University Turku, Law Faculty, Finland, where she focused on European IPR and Commercial Law.
