Bibliography of the Czech History

The Bibliography of the History of the Czech Lands compiled by the bibliography department of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic assembles bohemicist materials on historical subjects (i.e. by a Czech author, on a Czech subject, published in the Czech Republic). The Bibliography further includes historical and homeland regional literature, secondary-school and university history books, reviews and reports of historical literature, professional discussions and reports about the life of the Czech community of historians. There are also samples of the popularisation works and translations of foreign historical literature.
The complete and regularly updated internet database of the historical bibliography (http://biblio.hiu.cas.cz/) assembles books and articles in magazines and anthologies specialized in history published after 1990. It serves as a source for preparation of the annual almanac of the Bibliography of the Czech History published by the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic together with an enclosed CD-ROM containing the complete database.
