ASL Portal for Electronic Journals and Books

  • ASL Portal for Electronic Journals and Books
    Provides access to electronic journals at ASL (about 30,000 titles). The portal allows users to search for titles of journals available online in databases under subscription, and in some selected, freely accessible digital archives. The offer of additional services (SFX Menu) may be accepted through the SFX icon for a given title. The basic instructions in the pdf format are available here.
    ASL Portal also allows to search for electronic books in the ASL collection.
  • Information Gateway – MetaLib Search Portal
    Parallel searching of electronic information sources available at ASL. The MetaLib portal lets the users, with an appropriately worded retrieval query, search records of documents (particularly articles) concurrently in multiple electronic information sources (pre-set source groups like “Full-Text Databases” or “Citation and Abstract Databases”). Scanned Card Catalogue

  • General name catalogue of ASL
    containing all titles the library acquired by the end of 1992.
  • General subject catalogue (only in Czech)
    containing all titles the library acquired by the end of 1992.
  • Card Catalogue of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Arts
    Scanned card catalogue of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Arts (Czech abbreviation ČAVU) library, which started to operate at the beginning of 1891. It contains a total of 75,927 volumes.
  • Card Catalogue of Masaryk Work Academy
    Scanned card catalogue of the Masaryk Work Academy (Czech abbreviation MAP) library. MAP was founded in 1920 and held mostly books on technology, natural sciences and economy in its holdings. At the end of 1952, the library contained over 30,000 volumes that had come mostly from donations.
