Description/Comments:
A postdoctoral position within the Academic Human Resource Programme of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic is available in one of the research teams in the Institute of Mathematics AS CR.
The post would be suitable for a mathematician or another specialist with a strong background in mathematics. This is a full-time two year contract appointment, on the internal salary scale at a level commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Starting date: 01 July 2014
Requirements: A recent PhD degree (< 2 years, maternity/paternity leave will be taken into account) in mathematics or in a related area, motivation to do research, and potential for cooperation. If the applicant has not yet obtained his/her PhD, he/she must produce evidence that the thesis will be defended before 01 July 2014.
