Š. Jurajda Awarded a Commemorative Medal

CERGE-EI’s former director, Štěpán Jurajda, has been awarded a commemorative medal by Charles University for his long and exceptional development work for CERGE UK. The ceremony took place on March 27, 2014 in the Small Assembly Hall at the Carolinum during the Charles University Scientific Council meeting.

Invitation to EEAG Report on the European Economy

Charles University Introduces Its New Rector

Effective February 1^st 2014, Professor Tomáš Zima has assumed the position of rector of Charles University. He has been inaugurated on Tuesday March 4^th 2014. CERGE-EI, as a joint workplace of Charles University and the Academy of Sciences, wishes all the best to the newly appointed rector.
