Post-doctoral position in the Solar Department

A one year position as postdoctoral research fellow in solar physics is available from January 1, 2014 at the Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Ondrejov.
The postdoctoral fellow will be working on the project "Flare Chromospheres: Observations, Models and Archives" funded by the EC programme FP7-SPACE-2012. Applicants should have a PhD in astrophysics and research experience in computer modeling, Fortran code development, and IDL data processing. Experience in non-LTE radiative transfer, hydrodynamic and/or radiation hydrodynamics is welcomed.
Salary will be based on standard domestic post-doc level. The position is extendable up to three years depending on research achievements and available funding.
