How do I get a library card?

You have to come to the library and register as a user. Your card will be issued immediately upon registering, or alternatively you can use your valid ISIC card (with barcode) as a library card.

Can I apply for a library card online?

Unfortunately you cannot. You can download the registration form from the library website and bring it with you on your first visit to the library.

How do I get a card if I am not a Czech resident?

The registration process is the same for Czech and non-Czech residents. For borrowing policies, please consult the library rules.

What if I lose my library card?

Please notify the Library as soon as possible if you lose your Library Card (ISIC) to prevent someone else from using it.

What shall I do if my library card expires?

Your registration will be valid for either one year or for six months. After the given period, it has to be prolonged in person at the circulation desk.
