Solar ALMA Workshop

2nd Solar ALMA Workshop

24 June 2013, Faculty of Architecture, TU Prague, Czech Republic

The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array is a revolutionary instrument currently under construction located on the Chajnantor plain of the Chilean Andas, 5000 m above sea level. It will consist of 66 antennas, operated in interferometric mode, to explore the millimeter and submillimeter window with unprecedent sensitivity and angular resolution.

The Workshop aims to bring together the ALMA-minded solar community to discuss solar observational issues with ALMA, solar science and planned observations with ALMA, and the planning of solar ALMA observations.

As you know, the 2nd Solar ALMA Workshop is immediatelly followed by the CESRA 2013 Workshop. Who is going to take part in the CESRA conference as well have the possibility to order the lunches for the rest of the week upon registration to CESRA.
