Library of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (ASL) is a public research institution whose purpose is to conduct scientific research in the area of scientific information and library science, to establish a research-oriented information infrastructure, and to provide library-based, informational, and reprographic services to the institutes of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and other users active in research and science.
