The verdict

At its closing session on November 30, 2014, the jury decided to award the main prize to

Anezka Probudila

for the thesis Small observation changing everything found hard to be an impressive piece of work.

The jury also decided to give a honourable mention to the theses of

Dr. Jan Komensky

entitled Quantum, classical and other simulations, an exceptionally well-written and impressive thesis, and

Mgr. Amos Ucitel, PhD.

entitled Walking around quanta, a thesis containing some results hard to believe.
