A public lecture by 2011 Nobel Laureate in Economics and Harvard University Professor Eric Maskin at CERGE-EI titled “Financial Crises: Why They Occur and What to Do about Them.”

The lecture was held in cooperation with CERGE-EI at Comenius University in Bratislava.

Please note: The recording of Prof. Maskin's lecture at CERGE-EI on April 29, 2013, titled “How to Make the Right Decisions without Knowing People's Preferences: An Introduction to Mechanism Design” was negatively affected by a serious gas explosion in Prague (in the vicinity of the Academy of Sciences, our online streaming provider). We regret to inform you that the recording of the substitute provider is not of sufficient quality to be posted here.
