The 9th Interregional Workshop on Advanced Nanomaterials (IWAN) will be held in Prague on 7th – 8th November 2013. This interregional workshop represents a good meeting platform for materials scientists from three neighboring countries - Germany, Poland, and Czech Republic - working in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The workshop provides a unique opportunity to set up collaborations for research and education, benefiting from short distances between partners and making thus optimal use of available infrastructures in the area, It also represents the good oportunity for the students to present their own oral contributions in front of international scientific forum. http://web.natur.cuni.cz/www/iwan/
