Jaroslav Hamerský is PhD student at the Astronomical Institute in the group of Relativistic Astrophysics since 2011. Earlier that year, he obtained his Master Degree from Charles University in Prague.

The subject of his research is study of accretion of magnetized fluid tori around black holes. He is interested in the influence of magnetic fields and profile of angular momentum on the process of accretion and time evolution of the toroidal flow.
