Electronic books in the Academy of Sciences Library
The Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic Library has made more than 200,000 electronic books accessible since 2013. All these titles are accessible online from computers on the premises of the Academy of Sciences Library and off the library premises (i.e. remote access is permitted). Registration for remote access to electronic sources of information may be performed without visiting the Academy of Sciences Library in person (more here).

Ebrary allows to print 40 pages max on one login. In EBSCOeBooks, 60 pages max may be printed and portions of the text sent by email or downloaded onto various devices. Wiley Online Library does not loan books at all, but the content of e-books can be printed out or downloaded chapter by chapter.
The use of electronic books and their content is governed by ethical standards applicable to electronic information sources and scientific work.
The borrowing (downloading) of complete electronic books is possible through the ebrary and EBSCOeBooks.

More than 100 titles produced by the publishing house ACADEMIA accessible only from dedicated computer terminals in the ASL study room. More information about the project may be found here.
