EI Academy of Sciences

The Economics Institute (EI) of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic was established in 1992 (as a successor to two previous institutes) to further both high-quality research and graduate education in scientific economics. The Academy of Sciences itself traces its history to the Royal Czech Society of Sciences, which was established in the Czech Crown lands in 1784.
