PhDr. Tomáš Michalek

Tomáš Michalek joined the Strategic Studies Department of Technology Centre in 2012 as a member of the technology assessment team within the PACITA project. He has gained experience from both private and public sector as he worked for a computer technology corporation that specializes in developing and marketing computer hardware systems (Sun Microsystems, later acquired by Oracle Corporation), and as well as a lecturer and thesis advisor at the Charles University in Prague.

He earned his bachelor degree in International relations and diplomacy at the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. From September 2006 to June 2007, he was an Erasmus scholar at the Faculté des Sciences sociales, politiques et économiques, Université Libre de Bruxelles, in Belgium. He consequently earned his master and rigorous degree in International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague.
